This team is now a full-time team after playing last year as a tournament only team. Over the past year the team participated in four events including: Fall 2023 Ripken Aberdeen tournament, Ripken Pigeon Forge event, Lasorda preseason tourney and Ripken Myrtle Beach event.
The team brings together top players from all over Long Island and has use of two team run indoor facilities in Glen Cove. The team typically practices at Marino Park in Oyster Bay, Glen Head Community Center, City Stadium Park in Glen Cove for night practices and has access to other locations. The team is run by former college and minor league players and will focus on developing players' technical, physical and mental skills. We will have one outdoor practice typically as well as one weekly indoor hit followed by strength/speed/agility and a separate weekly indoor pitching session.
Understanding that many of the players will participate in school sports, the team will play two 5-game Fall seasons (East Coast and Hot Stove) along with two (Perfect Game Lasorda and East Coast) as well as two out of state events (Sports at the Beach in Delaware and Ripken Aberdeen). Looking ahead, the team has booked Shipyard in South Carolina for mid-March and will play at Cooperstown All-Star Village and Cooperstown Dreams Park in the summer of 2025 in addition to other events like Perfect Game, Diamond Nation and Lasorda among others.
The team will have organized winter workouts with a heavy focus on strength, speed, agility and conditioning to prepare the players for middle school baseball on the full-sized fields.
