This newly formed and fully sponsored Bulldogs team will look to bring together the best 11U players from Long Island and NYC to play in highly competitive tournaments outside of the regular Spring-Fall seasons. The team is scheduled to play in Aberdeen, Maryland at the Ripken Experience November 10-12 and plans on playing in tournaments in warmer states prior to the start of the Spring 2024 season.

This team will be professionally coached by former minor league and college players and as noted above is 100% free to players. The goal of this team is to get the very best local area players to train together and play top-level competition from around the country. This team will not conflict with players existing travel teams and will only play a limited number of tournaments outside the regular season schedules.

The team will primarily practice at Marino Park in Oyster Bay and also utilize Cove Sports in Glen Cove as well as the team’s private indoor facility in Glen Cove. Team members will have free use of the newly installed Hit Trax and Allstar Ace 7000 hitting system at our private facility.

Tryouts for this team will be held Wednesday August 23, Thursday August 24 and Monday, August 28 at Marino Park in Oyster Bay from 5:30 to 7:30. Additional tryouts to be held at later dates. Private tryouts available upon request.

The team will not have formal practices during the Fall 2023 season, so as not to conflict with current teams, but will have informal meetups, team dinners and hit sessions, when possible, to integrate the players prior to the Ripken tournament. We will schedule scrimmages between the end of the Fall season and the Ripken tournament.
